If they played it, I probably listened to it. Just know that Tom Waits is as close to a god as we're gonna get. I have special places in my heart for Nerdcore, Post-Rock, Ska, and Jazz. Partially belonging on my movie list, Ascenseur pour l'échafaud by Louis Malle, mainly for Miles Davis' incredible and haunting score.
[Insert hilarious and original joke about being stuck in a literal nutshell here ] I'm half Arab, half Northern Irish, genetically bred to be the perfect terrorist apparently. I was raised on Calvin & Hobbes, it didn't take long for me to grow the same sense of humor. That may or may not be a good thing. I tend to make really stupid jokes...again good or bad, that's your call. I'm the head of promotions and pseudo second in command of Scrub Club Records, the best Nerdcore label on the planet. I will pretty much read/watch/play anything that has to do with zombies...always. QuestionableContent and penny-arcade rule your life...just accept it. Also MethMinute. Few things on this Earth are as insufferable as supposedly witty or ironic slogans on t-shirts, except for the people who pay retarded amounts of money for those shirts. I used to wear a shirt I designed myself that just said IRONIC SLOGAN....if that had ever become popular and somehow become a trend I would have shot myself in the face so fast Budd Dwyer would have been put to shame. www.ironicfilmsdotcom.com Production company I try to help my friend run...consider yourself warned. You will probably either not get, or just not like what you see here. According to the IRC, "Bitches love that Lai." That is all the endorsement I need right there folks.
Must be able to hold a conversation, I can not stress this enough. I tend to talk at great length about politics, the arts, philosophy...any number of subjects a lot of people find boring, so someone who can put up with that. Basically looking for a similar person...though while I am typing this they will be in your base (blanking) your (blank). Someone who will be able to cope with my musical tastes...getting used to leaving a room while GWAR is playing and coming back in to hear Modest Mouse, before it changes to Miles Davis, and then some bluegrass, and then some swing...you get the picture.
