Kazz, when you need money for deposits, let me know. I'd be more than willing to chip in as much as I can.
Anyone driving down from north or around Philadelphia, PM me. I'd rather not pay for the flight, gas ends up being cheaper. (hopefully, summer gas prices aren't cool)

Yep. Sharif and I will be there together. We will have a room and everything lined up. 
Caitlin- as soon as my unemployment checks are deposited which should be today or tomorrow, I ought to be ready to put some monies down on the hotel rooms for FygCon.

So are there official dates or just tentative dates? TA and I may be in the area. I doubt we'll be taking part in FYG Con 2010, but we may drop in for brief hellos before moving along.

The date is solid, now. ^_^ Fri Aug 6 through monday the 9th. those folks arriving on Friday afternoon- I will need to get you hotel room info once we have those set and reserved. Those leaving after 9AM monday- let me know so that I can arrange travel to MARTA so that you can get back to the airport.
For contributions towards the rooms, please send to splinky311@gmail.com via paypal. the quotes i'm looking at now are ballparking in the $40 range per night per room. I intend to reserve two rooms so thats $240.
I'd say best bet for contributions would be between $50-70. If you want to go half in with someone, that's cool, you'll just need to be sure that you collect your share from the folks staying in the rooms.
I look forward to seeing everyone there! this will be a blast, for sure.

You'll be flying in to Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson international airport. the airport code is ATL.
Come at whatever time is convenient for you. you can either A- Take a northbound MARTA train to the end of the north line (North Springs Station) and I can arrange to get you there, or, you can arrange your own travel options.
More than likely, everyone coming in at similar times would be the best bet, so shoot for, say, 1-2 ish, and we can all work it all out from there.

Alright, so updates here, as far as best arrival/departure times.
Best bet is to try and fly in around early afternoon. 1-3ish, so we can try and trek over to Kazz's area together. I fly in around 2:30.
As far as leaving on the 9th, Kazz said ATL is a busy airport to fly out of, your best to be there 2 hours early. So if you can, try and coordinate a flight out of ATL 12noon or later.
Otherwise we will be set to have a rocking good time. I might be getting a tattoo sometime that weekend, while there. So if that interests anyone as well, let me or Kazz know.
So far I know it's me, Kazz, and Sele for sure. But we would love to have more geeks there. If you're interested in coming at all, just shoot me, Kazz or Sele a message. Or post in this thread.

yep, fygcon2010 still going down, so far its a gaggle of girls, so we can either make it a girls weekend with whiskey and tattoos, or make it an everybody weekend with whiskey and tattoos. My house is open to guests, as it will just be autumn and I here during that weekend.

i may drop by with my gf for a few minutes but it would be late at night and very short since i work all weekends at night from 3p-11p
