What should Netflix do with Terra Nova?
Dissecting the rumors about Netflix's decision to give Terra Nova a second chance.

Two weeks ago, due to low ratings and god-awful characters, FOX finally put bubbly Terra Nova out of its misery - or so I thought. But, like a very annoying zombie or a vampire, Terra Nova promises to rise again - this time on Netflix. And it first I was like: "Yeah, right. one episode of Terra Nova costs almost like Netflix itself", but then I thought - there are ways it could actually work! Here are my suggestions:
1. Future perspective
Peeps from Terra Nova are from the future and have some sort of communication between the two timelines. So here's what I think - they should just tell us Terra Nova stories without actually showing them. It is way cheaper to build a horrifying future where everything is dirty and sad, then a heaven on Earth where dinosaurs run free. Here's how it will look like:
2. Dinosaurs' perspective
Forget about boring people, it is dinosaurs' time! Stop eating their food and killing them off, they'll extinct soon enough anyway. So let's show how hard it was for dinosaurs, when people from future came and ruined everything. They probably had to move somewhere else, search for The Great Valley and all. Tell the story about them, like this one (and yes, of course it would be a cartoon, come on. There is no way Netflix can afford a proper CGI):
3. Lost man perspective
Terra Nova can start right where it left off. But then again, it is very, very doubtful Netflix has enough money to hire Jason O'Mara or Stephen Lang. So they should probably leave Shannon and his family and move on to a new character, who got lost in the woods and now is fighting for his life, all alone. Of course, he can't see actual dinosaurs, but he hears them, whispering, all the time. The genre is called "suspense", and here how it may look like:
So, what do you think Netflix should do with Terra Nova? Or maybe it is time to say goodbye and let it go? Are you angry or sad that FOX, once again, canceled a sci-fi show, or are you happy that now Fringe has a chance of survival? Share your thoughts and bye for now!
